PackageProof ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

A. Device Information (Anonymous)

We do not require you to create an account with an email address. Instead, we generate a random Device ID (UUID) upon your first launch. This ID acts as your anonymous username to link your videos and subscription receipt to your device.

B. User Content

• Videos: The packaging videos you record are uploaded to our secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2).
• Metadata: We store the tracking numbers and timestamps associated with your videos.

C. Analytics

We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., "Video Recorded," "Button Tapped") to help us improve the App. This data is aggregated and does not contain personal information like your name or address.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide the Service: We use your Device ID to retrieve your video history and verify your Pro subscription status.
• To Generate Proof: We host your videos on a public link (users with the specific URL can view it) so you can share them with buyers or marketplaces during disputes.
• To Improve the App: We use Mixpanel analytics to understand which features are most popular and to fix crashes.

3. Data Storage & Security

• Videos: Stored securely on Cloudflare R2.
• Database: Metadata is stored in our secure database.
• Payments: Subscription transactions are processed by Apple/Google via RevenueCat. We never see or store your financial details.

4. Data Retention

• Free Users: Videos are retained for 5 days.
• Pro Users: Videos are retained for 30 days.
• After the retention period, videos are automatically deleted from our servers to ensure privacy and save space.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data.

• Delete Account: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data by using the "Delete My Data" option in the App Settings or by emailing us.
• Manual Deletion: You can delete individual videos from your history at any time; this permanently removes them from our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
