Welcome to PackageProof ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

PackageProof is a tool designed for online resellers to record, store, and share video evidence of their packaging process. The App generates a secure, time-stamped link to these videos to help support claims in disputes.

Important Disclaimer: While PackageProof provides a tool to create and store evidence, we do not guarantee the outcome of any dispute, claim, or chargeback on any third-party platform (such as eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, PayPal, etc.). The acceptance of video evidence is at the sole discretion of the marketplace or payment processor.

2. User Accounts & Anonymity

• Anonymous Access: We prioritize your privacy. The App identifies your device using a randomly generated unique identifier ("Device ID") stored securely on your device. We do not require an email or password to use the core features.
• Data Persistence: Your data (videos and subscription status) is linked to this Device ID. If you delete the App or lose your device without backing up this ID, you may permanently lose access to your videos and subscription.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Pro Subscription: Some features, such as unlimited storage and longer video retention, require a paid "Pro" subscription.
• Payments: All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. We do not store your credit card information.
• Cancellations: You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Apple ID or Google Play settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the App to:

1. Create fake, misleading, or fraudulent evidence (e.g., "bait and switch" scams).
2. Violate the terms of service of any marketplace (eBay, etc.).
3. Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content.

We reserve the right to terminate access and delete content for any user suspected of fraud or abuse, without refund.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PackageProof shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, or denied disputes arising out of your use of the App.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
